It will soon be possible, thanks to a small Bluetooth box (2×2×4cm) connected to the OBD port and a smartphone application (Android for the moment), to drive several engine maps and view certain important information coming from the engine ECU. Here is an example for a dual map UL/E85. This will initially be available for the M3 E36 3.2L, Z3M and M3 E46.

The Bluetooth box and the app were both entirely developed by Vincent from the PerfectPower Lab. Feel free to contact him for any information at this email:

Note: We at the PerfectPower Lab are able to carry out any technological project on this type of car, but we need to know what the public really likes in 2025 (and we may also need funding for really complex projects), so feel free to share any suggestions you think they might interest enough people, thank you!
For example, know that we were ready to develop a project of BMW M3 E46 VTEC delivering 440 hp “from the factory” with its original 3.2 L engine, but we know that this project would unfortunately not have been viable in today’s era (on the other hand it would have been all the rage in the 90s…), so we didn’t implement it, but we are really ready to carry out all kinds of projects if we are convinced that the public will follow, so feel free to give us suggestions on this subject, thank you!
